Health-aware smart wheelchair with caregiver connectivity
The third generation of the C.A.R.E. Wheelchair adds health monitoring and remote caregiver access to tilt-based control, with an offline voice assistant (ORION) in development.
24 V differential-drive platform with 2 × BTS7960 motor drivers and a 24 V 18 Ah LiFePO4 battery. ESP32 + ESP8266 controllers linked over ESP-NOW, head/body tilt control through an IMU, biometric sensing with a caregiver telemetry dashboard, and continuing research at BUET's Institute of Appropriate Technology.
